The Initiative visited the early years and primary school at the New Kuchingoro Internal Displaced Persons Camp here in Abuja.
The children (a total of 186 children) between the ages of 2-12 years old were taught the right techniques of washing their hands, they were each given anti-bacterial soaps and hand sanitizers. They were also educated on good hygiene practices and encouraged to tell the people around them about what they had learnt, in a bid to reduce the incidence of infections through poor hygiene.
